Biography

A counselor, healer, educator and fine artist, Debora's interests in Paranormal Psychology, Art,  Meditation and Alternative Medicine surfaced in her early teens and lead to degrees in Psychology, Hypnotherapy, and Addiction's Counseling. She worked on the staff of several Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centers in Phoenix, Arizona assisting women, families, and adolescents, and was one of the first in Arizona to introduce Hypnotherapy into Addiction treatment programs.

As her interests began moving further away from "talk therapy" and into the world of energywork, Debora continued her education becoming a Certified Reiki Master and Certified Yoga Alliance Instructor. Since 1985 Debora has been aware that "life-force energy" flowing through her hands was having a variety of healing effects on people.  She gives partial credit for this ability to her 20+ year practice of Transcendental Meditation.    

Along with healing, Debora's lifelong passion for art lead to working in the mediums of Ceramics, Glass, and Painting. Her creations became represented by numerous prestigious Fine Art Galleries throughout the USA. Commissions for Princess Cruiselines, HGTV, 20th Century Fox, Boston Children's Hospital, Starwood Hotels and many more, were yet another way for Debora's hands to express healing and inspiration.

"My life has been a constant dance between the worlds of Art and Healing since a very young age. Both the Performing and Visual Arts have been tremendous teachers for me. The process of creating has helped to refine my sensitivities, my intuition, and understanding of the subtle, and not-so-subtle effects that color, sound, movement, and intention have on our total state of health."    

Quite unexpectedly in 2006 as she began facilitating a Reiki session, Debora realized it was no longer Reiki energy coming through her hands. An expansion beyond Reiki had occurred organically from within. Since that time Debora has been immersed in what is sometimes referred to as "New Medicine" exploring the relationships between Science, Consciousness, Spirituality, and Healing.

In 2008 Debora was lead to the work of Dr. Eric Pearl, founder of The Reconnection® and recognized a distinct resonance. The Reconnection has elicited a tremendous amount of interest from medical researchers, scientists, and hospitals worldwide. Debora was personally instructed and certified in the facilitation of The Reconnection and Reconnective Healing by Dr. Pearl and was fortunate enough to participate in scientific research studies conducted at the University of Arizona in Tucson and the California Institute of Health Sciences in Encinitas.  

With a private practice based in Del Mar, California, Debora has become well known for her non-touch, non-invasive, and often dramatic healing abilities.  She offers In-Office Sessions, Worldwide Distance Healing, and Private or Group Instruction in "Meditation Made Easy," and "Restorative Healing Yoga."
